It's a few days into June, and probably many of you have found your way to the farmers' markets already. Here in the north, we aren't quite that far yet, but fruits and vegetables are still on everyone's minds. While we wait, a couple informative documentaries:
The Future of Food -- a good overview of seed patenting history and issues, the science and potential risks of genetic engineering, the effects of GMO crops on cultures around the world, and ways we impact the future of our food system.
The World According to Monsanto -- a history of the social, health, environmental, and cultural impacts of Monsanto.
